I have always loved watching movies and trying to figure out how they made all of the props and costume pieces. I can still remember the first time I started to think differently about movies. I was watching Saw 2 with my friends in high school and we decided to watch the behind the scenes videos. We got to look at how the series went from a short film to what it is now. The one scene that sticks in my head to this day is watching Shawnee Smith (Amanda) get the needles from the needle pit applied to her arms. Watching her walk around set goofing off with a bunch of needles in her arms was so interesting. They replayed the needle pit scene after that and getting to re-watch the scene knowing how the make-up was done was incredible. It made me wonder "Can I make stuff like that one day?"
